New stuff

Okay, I've been busy, busy, busy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's what's up.

What's happenin'

So, the socks are done. I took a couple weeks off from knitting, but I cast on for my mom's christmas present this morning!!!!!! I'm about 8 inches into it. . . it's so pretty. And the yarn is cheap, so I'll be able to afford it when I run out (my mom can't wear wool, so she has to have acrylic, which is great for budget!). Since I have about. . .$3 Hehhehe. Yeah, that's why my Mariah isn't going to be finnished for a few monthes. Well, it depends. I guess with christmas coming up, I'll ask for yarn for Mariah and my Stripe knit.1 hoodie.

Yeah, that should work. . . . :-p

Okay, so I'm off to art class!

Slacker. .. I know

Okay, I know i haven't been posting. That's for two reasons,

first off, I've been busy.

second off, I haven't been knitting, so there's nothing to post about!


So, I finally picked up Mariah again and worked on her some more (I haven't since the last post about her). . . SLEEVES ARE DONE! yessssssss, they're so gorgeous! I love cables, they're definatley infatuating. Anyway, while I was knitting the sleeves I had extra long needles so that I could hold both of them on at the same time. . . well, one of them had a slight curve, so I decided to straighten it.......... yeah, not good idea.

It broke XD

It's a good thing I had a spare one lying around, so then I switched the sleeves off and knit them seperatly for the last 3 rounds.

OKAY! So since the sleeves are off the needles and on the stitch holders, I should probably begin working on my christmas list.

Soooo, next up - finally finnish those dang Lickety Split socks that I got lazy on.

After that?

Rose wrap for mum, slippers for brother, slippers for my "special" friend, hat for another friend (not "special"), and I still need to figure out what I'm doing for the grand'rents.

:p Lickety split will leave the list soon though, I just have the leg to finnish. I'm not doing intarsia on the second sock; I thought it would make it more "manly".

The stripe hoodie and Mariah are really just waiting on yarn. . .but the other ones are just from pure laziness >_> Mostly because my hands don't want to handle No.1 needles after writing out homework for the past couple of hours.

I have more excuses if you want to hear them. Heh

Okay! So I'm off to grap my lickety split and plop myself infront of the boob-tube to watch Battlestar Galactica!
