WIPs, and other interests

Well, here's Mariah so far

if you look closely, I messed up the cabling on the edges

But I don't care enough to go back.

Meep, I'm also knitting the Rev stripe hoodie from Knit 1 magazine

I'm using just two colors to save money and buying one skein at a time.
Can you guess what colors I'm using? Since they don't have lime green, I had to settle for red and black

The deadly sock wars have begun so I'm working on that as well.

I am also in a bellydancing swap :P yes, I have a lot of knitting >.< don't tell me I have to many WIPs or I'll WHIP you.

other than that, "school" is fine and kung fu is great. I'm learning long tassle straight sword right now.

Central park hoodie

I love this thing. It's a shame it's one of my cheap yarn items :/ maybe I'll make it again one day.

Anywho, I had to buy some yarn at the store after using up my pound of yarn. . and well, you can see the color change in the hood :p other than that. I LOVE THIS THING! I got the closer thing at Sheep & wool

and I've started to swatch for Knitty's Mariah

First day of unschool

Tomorrow morning is my first day at the tutoring school. It's homeschool moms that teach it. . . and we're homeschooled, but it's a semi school and you get to pick your subjects.
This is my first time. . yay, I feel like a real school kid, as my backpack weighs about 30 lbs.
Speaking of backpacks. . . today we were suppose to get "school supplies"; someone had this vision that we would be able to get out of the martial arts school in time to go shopping or something. Yeah, right, I didn't believe so- after all, we're putting down an entire floor! So. . the wood floor is almost done, but we ran out of wood. We'll get some more tomorrow and finnish the job on friday or saturday (the wood has to lay out for 2 days). We got in around 11 am and left around 10:30 pm. Evidentally, I wasn't able to buy a backpack. Good ol' Lane isn't afraid to sport her 8 yr old Charmander backpack. Yes, you heard right, Charmander. As in, that pokemon with the firey tail.

It's a good thing I don't want to make any friends, lol.

Anyway, I finnished the back and fronts of the Central park hoodie, I'm 7" in on the sleeves (both being knit at once). So I have the hood and front edging left. .. when I actually have time to work on it, the thing goes by in a matter of minutes. Sadly, I normally don't. So I won't finnish until the weekend most likely.
I know what I'm going to pin in close with!! It's so pretty. . . you'll just have to wait and see :)

Another shirt ripped

Yes'm

I modified one of the patterns from the Generation T book, I cut out the huge awesome picture instead of just the bottom and slashing the sleeves.
I like it. Though I certainly need to work on sewing skills

So this is what it looks like now AND THE AWESOME BACK It makes me feel all miss attitude

Also, I had this Logo shirt that I got paint on, so I slashed it too. It has an open back. No pattern

Also, one of my friends is off in college and I'm going to send her this awesome sushi scarf. Inspired by this scarf
